Aerobics

Camille

Camille conducts aerobics classes on a one to one basis and does personal training as well. Camille is proud to have been with the Wellness Center since January 1996, and since that time has helped many of our members achieve new physical goals.  Camille has been teaching aerobics, step aerobics, weight training and is a personal trainer for the past 16 years and has been certified by several different organizations.  She is currently CPR certified and she also has a recent certification with the Aerobic and Fitness Association of America (AFAA).

She is dedicated to motivating individuals while she helps them enjoy their exercise program.  Camille says that she finds it very gratifying to know that by participating in an exercise program one can improve their cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive and musculoskeletal systems while also improving metabolism, gland functions and lowering cholesterol.  She firmly believes that "Physical inactivity is the greatest hazard of all."

Karen

Karen has been an instructor at the Wellness Center for 10 years.  Her certification to teach aerobics is from the Aerobic and Fitness Association of America (AFAA).  She has been instructing classes for the past 8 years at various other fitness facilities in the area.

Although aerobics is Karen's first love, she also enjoys teaching step, cycle trekking and multi-step classes, plus she gets a real kick out of Box Aerobics.  Karen uses a variety of accessories to tone and build muscle to promote healthy bone mass.  As all instructors must be, Karen has a CPR certification but she has gone an extra step by obtaining an Emergency Response Certification as well as completing courses on exercise science and nutrition fundamentals.
