Bernard Pollock, M.D. has been practicing
Obstetrics / Gynecology for the past 43 years in Wantagh, Long Island. Six years ago
he stopped delivering babies and limited his practice to Gynecology. At his GYN
office, Ultrasound examinations are available, as well as other cancer detection methods. Around the same time, Dr. Pollock opened
The
Women's Wellness Center of Wantagh. At the Center, he performs Bone
Densitometry as well as Menopause therapy.
Dr. Pollock received his undergraduate degree from
Long Island University in 1951 and his Medical Degree from the University of Leiden, in
the Netherlands, in 1958. He performed his internship and residency
at Brookdale
Medical Center.
Dr. Pollock was board certified as
an obstetrician and gynecologist in
1969 and recertified in 1979. His memberships include:
Dr. Pollock was the Co-director of
Obstetrics and Gynecology at New Island
Hospital for many years. He is also an Assistant Clinical Professor of OB/GYN
